SMS Communication
If you provide your mobile phone number, we may use it to send you SMS messages related to your use of TalentTap. These messages may include:

- Employer/applicant messages
- Reminders or job alerts (if opted in)
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying "STOP" to any message or contacting us at privacy@talenttapapp.com. Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile provider.
3. Sharing Your Information
We do NOT sell your personal information. We may share it with:
Service Providers:
Third-party companies that help us operate the App, including:
- Cloud hosting and data storage providers
- Analytics and performance monitoring services
- Customer support and communication tools
- Payment processing services (for Employer accounts)
Other Users:
- For Applicants: Your profile and application information is shared with Employers when you apply for jobs
- For Employers: Your job listings and company information are visible to Applicants
Important: Employers do not "own" Applicant data. Applicants may request removal of their information from specific Employers at any time.
Legal Requirements:
- Law enforcement or government agencies when required by law
- To protect our rights, safety, or property
- In connection with legal proceedings
Business Transfers:
In the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, user information may be transferred as part of the transaction.
4. Data Retention
For Applicants:
- We retain your profile information, job applications, and related data until you request deletion
- You may request removal of your information from specific Employers without deleting your entire account
- Inactive accounts (no login for 3+ years) may be subject to deletion after notice
For Employers:
- We retain job posting data and applicant interactions for the duration of your active account
- Upon account closure or non-payment, we will delete your job listings and associated data within 30 days
- Some data may be retained longer for legal, regulatory, or security purposes

General Retention:
- Communication logs and support tickets: 3 years
- Analytics and usage data: 2 years in aggregated, non-identifiable form
- Legal and fraud prevention data: As required by law

5. Data Security
We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including:

However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
